Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Hannah and I am the daughter of a King.

I could list the many things that make me who I am, but instead, I want to leave you with a testimony one of faith, surrender, and trusting God.

When I was young, the desire for fashion lived boldly in my heart. Like many children, I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” And without hesitation, I would stand tall and say, “A fashion designer.” Joy in my heart. A smile on my face.

But not every dream is met with applause.

I heard scoffs. I heard laughter. I heard, “You’re better off working at McDonald’s.”
And just like that, the dream felt deferred.

I tucked away the part of me that imagined colors, shapes, textures, and silhouettes. I stopped nurturing the creativity God placed inside of me. I convinced myself it was safer not to try.

Years later, the Lord restored what I once buried.

He makes all things new.

What I thought was over was simply waiting for His timing. And now, I stand in promise. I stand boldly in what once felt impossible. I may not have every detail figured out, but I am carried by grace  sustained by courage, strengthened to persevere.

I am a walking testimony that God restores what the world tried to silence.

And I pray that in reading this, you are reminded: no dream placed in your heart by Him is wasted.
